1. How long have you been in business? How do we know if you are going to be around to support our system?
The parent company was established in 1999 as Core Business Solutions. In January 2005 the members decided to create a separate private limited company named Chillisoft Solution Services to enable employee share holding. So in essence we have been operating from 1999. Today our company is owned by previous Corebiz employees and we still inculcate the same successful business culture. We also provide all source documentation and code to the client, even though our systems require minimal maintenance.

2. I need a solution that encompasses hardware as well as software.
Chillisoft has a longstanding partnership with a national hardware and networking company. We will help you specify the equipment that the solution requires. We would also be able to integrate the customised software with the hardware's software if required.

3. What happens if I need reports or enhancements after the system is implemented?
Chillisoft is happy to negotiate and enter into a service level agreement that guarantees you a minimum number of hours per month. The service agreement specifies the response time and procedure for logging new enhancements and requests.

4. We deal with highly confidential information. Do you really need access to this information?
We will willingly sign nondisclosure agreements that protect the confidentiality of your business. We will require access to documents if it is an input or an output, or it interacts with the proposed system.

5. We've wasted a lot of money on software. How do we know that you will deliver?
We will understand and document your system requirements. These requirements must be understood and accepted by you prior to development. The developed system is finally tested against the requirements to ensure that your needs are met. Payment is due after you have signed the user acceptance tests. We will also deliver the system in phases or increments so that you can ascertain whether we are delivering or not.

6. I need a static website. Does Chillisoft do websites?
No, we do not do static websites since graphics and marketing are not what we do well. We will however work with graphic designers to create an interactive website (i.e. a website where users enter and receive data).

7. We have branches nationally and internationally. Do you have the footprint to provide support?
No, we do not have a national or international footprint yet. However our software development process negates the necessity for footprints. We are currently able to package and deploy enhancements and bug fixes easily nationally and internationally.

8. We have an IT staff. Is it possible to train our staff to develop custom reports?
Yes, we will quote to run a workshop explaining your data-model, structure of the application and any other required technical information. It is assumed that your staff is familiar with the chosen report writing tool.
