Hybrid solutions where you reap the benefits of both of web and windows applications whilst saving on development costs i.e. We use the same data, business object layers and use different presentation layers to produce a solution that uses both web and windows.

Sharepoint Applications:

Chillisoft is able to assist with sharepoint 2007 and 2010 customisation. Our experience in developing sharepoint applications includes the following features and functionality:

Designing and implementing the taxonomy for documents, pictures, links, contacts and users
Customising the navigation, displaying bread crumbs as users browse the site
Allowing authorised users to search on keywords for subscriptions and then allowing them to subscribe to one or more publications
Allowing users to browse by predefined categories for each taxonomy item
Setting up and managing users subscriptions to various publications
Developing custom searches for taxonomy item

DotNetNuke (i.e. DNN) Websites:

DNN is one of the many content management systems that is easily and readily available. Chillisoft have chosen to use DNN as a content management system for businesses who want to easily administer their own websites and intranets. We have chosen to develop using DNN because it is open-source and there numerous third party plug-ins, features and skins that are available for DNN. DNN has a large number of core modules (i.e. about 25) that is ready to put onto any page by an end-user. It is also quite powerful and allows full online editing of site content. DNN therefore provides an affordable solution to businesses. Chillisoft has implemented the following functionality using DNN:

Web Applications:

Our web applications are developed using a range of technologies that are specifically chosen to suit the customer's needs in terms of security, budget, performance, aesthetics, target market and or platform. Some of the technologies that we use includes the following:
ASP.Net, silverlight, ASP.Net MVC, ASP AJAX, Visual Web Gui.

Windows Systems:

Windows forms are used for low spec environments, mobile devices or if the customer's budget is limited.
WPF is used for aesthetically pleasing applications where the styling and user interfaces are highly customised.
